Thanks to Lynn Terry of Self Starters Weekly Tips, my blog is now back to normal. The vast white space above my posts was caused by my putting in a banner that was too big. That young lady knows a lot and she is always willing to help.
There have been a few times this past little while that I have been so pleased that I met you Lynn.
We have had our house up for sale for over a month, which is stress in itself. On top of that, the agents often fail to show up or come either a half hour before or after their appointment time. As you can tell, this does not make me a happy little old lady.
Our real estate visit recently was the final straw. After waiting for an hour for said agent to show up, we finally phoned our agent to find out if anyone was still coming. After all, we sometimes have a life. We were informed that the real estate agent and his clients had already come and gone. Apparently the tv set was on, but we must have been out for a walk.
Since we were still at our home waiting, someone else’s television was on and the clients strolled through the home of one of my neighbours. I hate to think of the confrontation had they been there.
So for your future peace of mind, if one of your neighbours has a house for sale, keep your door locked. You never know if the blind real estate agent has cloned himself in your area.
Just when I think I have it figured out, something else happens. Now there is a big blank space at the top of my blog and I have to scroll waaay down to see the postings. I have only seen this once before on someone’s blog and never thought it would happen to me!!
Now what do I do? I have been attacked by the dreaded “too much white space virus”. Help, somebody, please.
I have to say that Netfirms is the best. They have held my hand (by phone) through all the trials of my getting this blog off the ground. I call them in the middle of the night (who can sleep when they just lost two years work?) and they spend time and patience with me. What can I say but thank you, Netfirms!
Here I am again, posting at almost midnight. I intended to turn off this computer long ago but it seems to pull me back for just one more website to click, just one more email to read. Before I know it, my eyes are glazed, my neck is aching and it will be two in the morning. But tonight I will show this computer who is boss. I will turn it off and not think about it anymore. I will have a restful sleep without any thoughts about my online world.
I am turning it off now.
Just one more sentence.
Come on fingers, get off those keys and get some rest.
