Enjoying Some Down Time
Well, I’ve taken three days off work now and am just enjoying some down time. I have fibromyalgia and have been so busy for the past weeks that my system doesn’t want to go anymore than a crawl right now. I don’t get paid when I’m off sick, so they don’t mind me not coming in.
I read some good articles that will be helpful for my motivatedtolearn subscribers and am going through my files as well. These slow days are great for doing the little organizing jobs that are necessary but hard to find time for. So I’ll settle down with my cup of tea and see what treasures I find in my paper pile.

Hello Carol,
I found out about your blog from Lynn Terry’s forum.
You say you have fibromalgia, and I was wondering if
you have trouble walking, would you mind telling me
about it?

Hi Maria,
I was just diagnosed this summer and it seems that the weather plays a big part. Also when I get really overtired. Some days I’m not bad at all, but when I have a flare-up for whatever reason, I do have trouble walking up stairs especially. My knees really bother me. I also have trouble getting back up if I bend down. As far as walking in general, I’ve only noticed that I move a lot slower and sometimes my ankles feel quite weak.
Do you have fibro? I’ve been trying to read up on it as much as I can, but still don’t know a lot. The only thing my doctor says is exercise and lose weight.(I’m 20 pounds over)
Keep in touch,
Carol
